The Desert Pyramids in Hub de Vors: Temporada 3 are a far cry from the vanilla desert temples you may be familiar with. These revamped structures are larger, more ornate, and significantly more dangerous. With golden-tipped towers, palm trees, and sandstone architecture that gleams under the desert sun, they stand out as majestic landmarks in an otherwise harsh biome.
But unlike the Vanilla Desert Temples which lay fairly dormant, these pyramids are heavily guarded by the undead. Expect to encounter:
- Skeletons
These mobs protect the pyramid’s most valuable secret: a hidden underground chamber located at the center of the structure. Exactly like the vanilla temples, this chamber contains four loot chests, but the stakes are much higher.
The floor is rigged with multiple pressure plates and double the amount of TNT—enough to blow the entire pyramid sky high if triggered. Mind your step as you dig down and navigate the chamber.
The loot inside is well worth the risk, often containing:
- Valuable gems (Diamonds, emeralds, netherite scrap)
Not all pyramids follow the same blueprint. The Maze Pyramids are a distinct variant.
You’ll know you’ve found one by the three pairs of decorative arches adorning the rear of the pyramid vs. just foliage like the other version.
These tombs have different spawners in them. And are possibly actively being raided by hostile NPC factions:
Expect tight corridors, intermittent combat, and strategic chest placement that rewards exploration.
